Four areas of expertise, one goal: to provide help quickly.
Medical Assistance
If an individual insured in Switzerland has an accident or falls ill abroad and calls the emergency number listed by their health or travel insurance provider, it is highly likely their case will reach us. We are responsible for assisting approximately 80% of all insured persons in Switzerland.
In short, we are responsible for ensuring people get all the help they need without delay. We guarantee the quality of medical assistance on location and organise the next steps – through to repatriation to Switzerland if required. We also handle all documentation and take care of the fees incurred as a result of the incident.
Our own physicians remain in close contact with the local medical teams with the aim of assessing the health of the individual concerned and whether they need to be repatriated to Switzerland.
We also provide these services directly to companies through our subsidiary Traveo to cover business trips.

Breakdown assistance, towing service, replacement vehicles: our Technical Assistance service handles vehicle and other material damage. We do everything we can to keep inconvenience to a minimum. As the point of contact for insured persons in Switzerland, we coordinate assistance on location and make sure they can continue their journey. We serve as the liaison for all parties involved and are on hand whenever our services are required. Our extensive international network allows us to respond rapidly on behalf of persons in need when an incident occurs. We fulfil a wide and varied range of duties, including preparing insurance certificates for vehicles, receiving claims (e.g. in the event of damage caused by storms, hail or flooding), organising the return of a vehicle and cost management.

Personal Emergency Call
Most people are familiar with the panic buttons worn by many elderly people. If the alarm is raised, we are on the other end of the line to check whether that person needs help. If they do, we immediately take all the measures required to assist them. Our alarm response solutions also incorporate relevant personal details such as information about blood thinners, pacemakers or the place where a house key is stored. The emergency services can then use this important information as required.
