Medicall professionals arrange and authorize assistance for breakdowns and accidents of all kinds around the clock. Technical Assistance staff has access to a comprehensive national and international network of assistance services.
As soon as the breakdown service is at the scene, the vehicle will be repaired on site. This way, the client can, in most cases, arrive at their destination with their own vehicle.
If there is a major technical defect, the vehicle will need to be towed away. If replacement parts are need, Medicall arranges their delivery to the desired garage. If roadworthiness cannot be achieved within a reasonable time, the vehicle will be taken to its “home” garage. In these cases, the vehicle occupants will receive help to continue their journey or return home. This service includes a variety of assistance, such as hotel reservations, arranging for a rental vehicle, taxi or a flight.
If transport costs exceed the current market value of the vehicle, the vehicle will be scrapped on site. Medicall also helps the insured with this bureaucratic process.
